These are a few of my favorite things...

2015 was a fantastic year in the radio controlled hobby world. We saw many new innovations, exciting products and just a touch of political drama to say the least. With a new year on the horizon I like to look back and reminisce on the cool things I've played with. That's what this article is all about. I'm going to highlight some of my favorite reviews and articles from 2015 and hope this gets you excited for what's to come in 2016.

Connex HD Video Transmission Review

The Connex HD Video Transmission system is a fantastic product from Amimon. It offers a zero latency 1080P HD video downlink and even camera controls for drones. I use it mostly on my DJI S900, but I did pull it off for the Stone Blue Airlines FPV meet last fall and attached it to my Ranger airplane which also had a 1.3Ghz analog video feed. It was cool to fly with side by side monitors and see how much better the HD link looks. It was great fun. Check out the full review on the Connex system here.
